DICE
Founded in 2004 through the merger of long-established teams already enjoying strong visibility and reputation, UMR DICE is a research laboratory specializing in international law, comparative law, and European law.
It is a multi-site joint research unit (UMR), bringing together four teams across three locations (Aix-en-Provence, Pau, and Toulon):
- Jean-Claude Escarras Center for Comparative Law and Political Studies (CDPC-JCE, University of Toulon)
- Center for International and European Studies and Research (CERIC, Aix-Marseille Université)
- Institute for Iberian and Ibero-American Studies (IE2IA, University of Pau and the Adour Region)
- Louis Favoreu Institute – Research Group on Constitutional Justice (ILF-GERJC, Aix-Marseille Université)
The main supervisory institutions of UMR DICE are Aix-Marseille Université and CNRS, while its secondary supervisory institutions are Sciences Po Aix, Université de Toulon, and Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA).
