Welcome Week “Immersion in Provence”
Every year at the end of August, Sciences Po Aix organizes an intensive course offering French classes and numerous activities in Aix-en-Provence.
Objectives and programme
The objective of this course is to give international students all the keys to adapt easily to their new environment.
The intensive French courses are designed to give students the necessary language skills to cope with everyday life in France, both in the city and at the university.
Through workshops and visits, participants discover the historical, gastronomic and geographical heritage of France. Admiring the places visited by Cézanne, visiting a “calissons” factory, visiting a winery, discovering the local environment are all examples of activities that allow students to get to know Provence.
This programme is reserved for students participating in an exchange programme at Sciences Po Aix.
