Sciences Po Aix offers preparation for the direct recruitment competition for judges of administrative tribunals and administrative courts of appeal, category A+ bodies, the competition for which takes place each year in September.

Description of the course

The training takes place every year from the end of September to the beginning of July of the following year. It is provided by a team of administrative magistrates.

It covers a total of 120 hours of training, including :

  • 54 hours of lectures in public law (shared with the Sciences Po Aix pre-professional diploma);
  • 48 hours of preparation for the test of the contentious note.

Eligible candidates will benefit from specific training for the oral tests.

The preparation is freely accessible to students already admitted to the INSP preparation course at Sciences Po Aix, as well as to external candidates who meet the conditions required to take this examination, after selection on the basis of their file (the examination takes place each year in September).

Skills

  • Mastery of public law and litigation techniques;
  • Drafting documents in compliance with the jurisdictional form
  • Analyse situations and ensure that they comply with the ethical principles of the civil service;
  • Identify and implement the legal rules applicable to the various facets of administrative action;
  • Synthesise a set of documents and data to present them in a concise manner and make them operational for the public decision-maker;
