From the start of the 2021 academic year, the public service Talents classes offer training of excellence, intended for the most deserving scholarship students in higher education to prepare for the competitions giving access to management positions in the public service.

Description of the course

Students are selected on the basis of resources and merit, on the basis of a file and an interview taking into account the candidate’s background, aptitudes, motivation and potential.

The teaching teams of the Talent Preparatory Courses are made up of senior civil servants who provide professional training (role-playing, test methodology, practical cases, etc.) and academics for the academic subjects (law, economics, public finance, language, etc.).

From the beginning of the academic year 2021, a “Talents” class of 25 places will be opened within the INSP – Grands concours prep’. Admission to this “Talents” class entitles the student to significant educational and financial support:

On the pedagogical level:

  • a personal “mentor”: this will be a senior civil servant who has chosen the career in which the student is interested (diplomacy, prefecture, local government, etc.), and who will help the student to project himself, to orient himself and to prepare for the competitive examination interview, etc.
  • tutoring: the student will be accompanied by student tutors, chosen from among the best students of the previous year.

Financially :

  • 4,000 euros per year in financial aid from the State, in addition to other grants;
  • personalised support in obtaining the grants offered by our partners (INSP, EN3S) to students preparing for the major competitions;

material support from our partner CROUS (obtaining accommodation in a university residence, on-site catering);
