Disability mission

The Disability mission is aimed at all Sciences Po Aix students who have an identified disability or a temporary disability. Its objective is to support the student individually throughout his studies. In collaboration with the Inter-University Service for Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion (SIUMPPS), support will be put in place to meet the specific needs of the student.

The missions

  • Welcoming students with disabilities and supporting them in their academic career and professional integration,
  • Setting up individualised responses according to specific needs
  • Proposals for adjustments to students’ study programmes,
  • Coordination of the implementation of examination arrangements (schooling, teaching staff, Department of Property and Logistics, Department of the Information System and Digital Strategy, Espace Pro),
  • Information on the various human and technical aids available at the IEP and outside (psychologist and sophrologist at Sciences Po Aix, technical adjustments to classrooms and lecture halls)
  • Regularly reviewing with the Heritage and Logistics Department the work and adjustments being made for students with disabilities and proposing adjustments.

She also assists students who are experiencing temporary difficulties.
