Interface is the solidarity and humanitarian association of Sciences Po Aix.

Created nearly 25 years ago, Interface encourages students to get involved with the most disadvantaged, by proposing multiple local and international actions throughout the year. This commitment can be expressed through school support, marauding, visits to the hospital in Aix, awareness-raising on LGBTQIA+ rights, meetings with the elderly, blood donations and many others.

Interface is composed of several poles that fight for various causes:

  • The Pôle Précarité helps homeless people by organising weekly marauding in the city centre of Aix-en-Provence.
  • The Hospital Pole goes to the hospital of Aix-en-Provence, accompanied by the Blouses Roses, the students offer a moment of joy and relaxation in the day of the hospitalized children.
  • The Pôle Génération shares moments with the elderly of Aix-en-Provence around cultural outings, computer courses and other leisure activities. These intergenerational moments allow us to live enriching experiences and to widen our field of vision.
  • The Human Rights Unit transmits the values of International Humanitarian Law thanks to the training provided by the French Red Cross. In addition, with the help of Amnesty International, they participate in the defence of human rights by organising awareness campaigns.
  • The Pôle LGBTQIA+ defends the rights of LGBTQIA+ people and offers events, actions, films, exhibitions, debates and parties around the LGBTQIA+ cause.
  • The Education Unit promotes equal access to culture by organising cultural and educational outings with secondary schools in the northern districts of Marseille in order to share moments around diverse and varied activities.
