Diploma of Sciences Po Aix

Sciences Po Aix is a Great School whose vocation is to train senior executives in the public and private sectors to the highest standards, by combining solid general knowledge with methodological and disciplinary learning.

The five-year degree develops analytical and decision-making skills based on a solid background in human and social sciences and specialised knowledge.

Exchange and independent students

Sciences Po Aix offers three programmes for international students:

This programme offers a one-year university certificate from Sciences Po Aix consisting of:

  • Two mandatory and specific lectures (20-hour modules)
  • Two seminars (in small groups, continuous assessment)
  • Four lectures to choose from in the course catalogue, including at least two in French per semester

All the courses represent a total of 60 ECTS credits (30 per semester). A B2 level in French is required.

This programme is intended for students who wish to take courses in a more flexible way, over one year. The PEPA consists of a combination of lectures (4 ECTS each) and seminars (5 ECTS) to be chosen from the course catalogue for international students. It is not possible to choose more than two seminars per semester. The maximum number of credits is set at 34 per semester, according to the choice of the student and with the agreement of his home university.

This programme is not a university certificate, however a transcript of marks and credits obtained is issued to students and sent to their home university at the end of each academic period.
