Excalibur’s vocation is to transmit the historical fibre and to pursue the duty of memory. Each year, the association presents a historical theme, often unknown and little studied in the school curriculum. Through an innovative and culturally enriching vision, the association organises original events such as film screenings or conferences on subjects that cross the history of both sides. If Excalibur has a primary role of transmitting history, they also try to preserve it. Indeed, it seems essential to exercise a duty of remembrance today, especially among the younger generations.

Excalibur is thus committed to transmitting the duty of remembrance in a playful and civic manner through testimonies of great historical richness that have touched and sensitised several audiences, such as the story of concentration camp survivors, organised by the first office.
